Transform your yoga teaching practice and journey during this insightful and exceptionally fun weekend workshop on Teaching Yoga Through and Ayurvedic Lens with Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and E-RYT 200/RYT 500 & YACEP Kirsten Ahern. The weekend’s activities will include instructional modules on Ayurvedic theory and concepts, Ayurvedic anatomy and physiology, elemental Ayurvedic yoga flow classes, as well as teaching practice and small group lab work.
The weekend will include:
Learn the actions of the elements and the seat of the Ayurvedic “doshas” in the physical and subtle bodies.
Learn postures and sequences that help to activate specific elements and to pacify doshic imbalances.
Learn and apply the doshic sub-classifications and engagement of specific organs and body parts in asana, pranayama and meditation by implementing therapeutic postures that balance the doshas in physical and subtle bodies.
Learn intuitive elemental sequencing and sensory therapies to incorporate into your classes or home practice to align with the seasons, the environment and the entire mandala of life!
Those participating in the module for YA CE Credit or for YTT purposes will complete short extra-curricular reading and reflection assignments in order to complete their 25 hours.
